ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS 

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be residents of the City of Medford, MA., attending public, charter or private secondary programs.
  • Be high school seniors or graduates, age 21 and under, who will be entering their first year of post-secondary study in the Fall of 2024.
  • Plan to enroll in full time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
  • Willingness to attend an awards event, upon invitation

SELECTION CRITERIA

The program will use recipient selection criteria including the consideration of academic performance; demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, any unusual personal or family circumstances and an outside appraisal from a non-related adult teacher, counselor, coach or work supervisor.

Financial need will be considered. if financial information is provided, if you choose not to provide financial information, it will not count against you when being considered for an award.
